We are seeking a talented SAP ABAP S/4HANA Developer to drive innovation in the chemical industry. As a key player in our tech-savvy team, you’ll leverage your expertise to develop, implement, and maintain SAP solutions tailored to our unique industry needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll design and optimize ABAP programs, enhancing system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Include analysis, design, coding in SAP S/4HANA ABAP, application scenario testing, and implementation in all core modules/functional areas. You will review and train the in-house technical team, manage multiple work streams, and provide end-to-end technical knowledge transfer. Additional tasks include transforming traditional ABAP programs into S/4HANA architecture, designing and implementing CDS and AMDP, developing Adobe forms, providing application debugging support, and offering 24×7 production support on a rotational basis. You will also develop, execute, and maintain test plans, perform incident management tasks, create updated solutions and training documents, and support problem and change management.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent.
– 7-12+ years of hands-on SAP development, implementation, and support experience in SAP ABAP, user exits, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, object-oriented programming (OOPs), LSMW, ALV reporting, BDCs, and IDOCs.
– Proficiency in basic ABAP, WRICEF development, and excellent debugging skills.
– Experience with ALV reporting (Object-Oriented and RAP), User Exits in SD, BADIs, Enhancement Spots, IDOC, Module pool programming, BDC, Forms (Smart forms, Adobe), Function Groups, Function Modules, RFCs, BAPIs.
– Working knowledge of APIs and CPI, interfacing SAP systems with third-party systems.
– Good understanding of business processes in all SAP modules, particularly in SAP S/4HANA core modules.
– Ability to provide various technical solutions based on business requirements (FDS).
– Effective data fetching techniques and parallel processing skills.
– Familiarity with code review techniques and quality protocols.
– Understanding of program events in report programs, ALV programming, and SAP to third-party interfaces.
– Proficient in written and spoken English with strong analytical skills.
– Ability to develop new technology skills, business knowledge, and customer service capability.
– Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
– Outstanding customer service skills for in-house and external partner teams.
– Flexibility to work varying business hours.
– Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, Focus Build, Smartsheet, project implementation, and production support is a plus.
– NetWeaver certification is desirable.
